Luxury Holiday Bungalow Casa Cranenweyer

Casa Cranenweyer is a modern, luxurious bungalow built in June 2020, located in a quiet cul-de-sac right on the edge of the Anstelvallei nature reserve in Kerkrade. The house is named after De Cranenweyer, the only dam lake in the Netherlands, beautifully set in the middle of this green valley.

Here you’ll find an oasis of peace. From the front of the house, you can walk straight into the forest towards the lake and the historic 14th-century Castle Erenstein. You’ll hear the sounds of nature all around you — woodpeckers drumming, frogs croaking, birds singing.

At the back, the terrace overlooks our friendly animals: deer, alpacas, pigs, goats, and chickens.

Inside, Casa Cranenweyer has been lovingly decorated with a touch of the Orient — canopy beds, filigree lamps, and an Eastern-style mirror create a 1001 Nights atmosphere. The luxurious bathroom features both a bathtub and a spacious walk-in rain shower. The modern kitchen includes a dishwasher, combination oven, induction hob, large fridge-freezer, and Nespresso machine.

The living area offers a comfortable corner sofa, Ambilight TV with Chromecast, and access to several streaming services. The pellet stove adds extra warmth and coziness.

The bungalow has two bedrooms: one with a double bed, and one with two single canopy beds that can be joined to form a large double.

A shared laundry area with washing machine, dryer, ironing board, and iron is available. Towels, linens, and kitchen cloths are included.

There is private parking for multiple cars at the front of the house. Chevremont train station is within a 10-minute walk. We live on the adjacent property and are happy to provide tips about sights and activities in the area. A baby cot and highchair are available free of charge.
