Casa Holiday Homes was created from our love for hospitality, nature, and comfort. On our property in Kerkrade, in the rolling hills of South Limburg, we offer two unique holiday homes: Casa Cranenweyer and Casa Anstelvallei. Both are located in a stunning natural setting overlooking the green Anstel Valley and the protected area around the Cranenweyer pond – the only dam lake in the Netherlands.


This region brings together the best of three countries – the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. From the garden, you can walk straight into nature along streams, meadows, and forests where deer, alpacas, goats, and chickens live peacefully. Birdwatchers and hikers will find countless scenic routes through the Anstel Valley, the Geul Valley, and the nearby Worm Valley. The Cranenweyer, once built as a water reservoir and now a tranquil nature reserve rich in birdlife, is just a short walk away.


Just nearby lies Erenstein Castle, a beautifully restored estate known from the Dutch TV show De Verraders (The Traitors). With its moat, bridge, and gardens, it is one of the most iconic landmarks in the region.


Despite its peaceful surroundings, lively towns are close by. Kerkrade, Aachen, Valkenburg, and Maastricht offer culture, dining, and history. The region is famous for its rolling hills, castles, mining heritage, and warm hospitality – a perfect blend of nature and comfort.

  • Which amenities are included in the bungalows?

    Both accommodations are fully equipped for a comfortable stay and offer free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a modern kitchen with contemporary appliances, a private outdoor area, and a pleasant living space. Towels, tea towels, and bed linen are included in the stay.


    Private on-site parking is available at the properties. Guests can also use shared laundry facilities, including a washing machine, dryer, iron, and ironing board. Casa Cranenweyer is additionally equipped with a cozy pellet stove.


    A baby cot and high chair can be provided upon request.


    During the summer season, a parasol and a gas barbecue (BBQ) are also available outdoors, allowing you to fully enjoy outdoor living.

  • Is parking available at the properties?

    Yes, the bungalows are located on private grounds and offer private parking directly in front of the accommodation. The parking area is also equipped with two video cameras, contributing to a safe and worry-free stay.

  • What are the check-in and check-out times?

    Check-in is possible from 4:00 PM, and check-out must be completed by 10:00 AM.


    We always do our best to accommodate requests for an early check-in or late check-out. However, this is subject to other bookings and availability on the day of arrival or departure.

  • Are the properties family-friendly?

    Yes, our accommodations are very suitable for families. Upon request, we are happy to provide a baby cot and/or high chair free of charge, ensuring a comfortable stay for families with young children.


    In addition, we find that children are generally very enthusiastic about the animals on and around the property, which often makes their stay even more enjoyable and memorable.

  • Are pets allowed?

    No, pets are not allowed in our accommodations. We apply a strict policy in this regard and are unable to make any exceptions. This helps us maintain a hygienic environment and ensures a comfortable stay for guests with allergies.
